With the initial launch of the Lebron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger-backed brand, Ladder had a lot of fanfare with limited understanding of the product and offering. Our job was to reframe the brand and clarify its product to the target audience.

STATE OF AFFAIRS

With a targeted Q1 campaign launch date, the sports nutrition and wellness space would be very crowded with New Year's Resolutions and “New Year, New You!” messaging with accompanying discounts and offering.

OUR ANGLE

Ladder isn’t for the seasonally fit, New Year’s Resolution crowd. Ladder was built by and for the athlete —those who operate inside of the ritualistic regimen required for high performance, regardless of the calendar.

Through the campaign, we celebrated those that show up day in and day to with the drive and determination to achieve top form.

The narrative was rooted in the determination and persistence it takes to become your best, which was contrasted against the fleeting nature of resolutions.

Featuring three Ladder-affiliated athletes Johnny Hooper (Team USA Water Polo), Alex Toussaint (Senior Instructor at Peloton), and Bec Wilcock (Nike Run Club) the spot was designed to showcase the functionality and application of the product while demonstrating that Ladder helps athletes reach their goals across all sports.
